Our Father in Heaven, Praise Your Holy Name!
We come to Your throne with humble hearts.
May Your will be done in our lives, in the church and on the earth, as in Heaven.
Open our eyes this day to see what is happening in the world around us.
Open the eyes of our family, friends, neighbors and leaders to the evil in our midst.
Let the warnings of your servants be heard and heeded
Throughout the nations and throughout the church.
Forgive us for our selfish sins of pride, resentment, entitlement and hatred
So that our hearts, minds and souls are set free to establish true unity in Your Holy Spirit.
Help us forgive all who hurt us, and open their eyes to the truth
That they might also repent and accept Your grace and mercy.
Guide us every moment with Your Holy Spirit.
Keep us from fearing what any man might think, say or do to us.
Help us stand on faith in Your son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Allow us to abide in Your Love and to seek Your power in our weakness.
For Your power and honor and glory are forever.
We trust in You alone.
We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
About the Author – Mindy Stephens
Mindy lives in the Piney Woods of East Texas with her husband of 20 years and their two young sons. She loves studying God’s word, walking in nature, gardening, animals, books and traveling with her family. In the last couple of years, Mindy has been led to focus more on her relationship with God and begin to see herself as His child. Growing up, she always believed in Jesus, but due to life’s circumstances and her Catholic upbringing, she had a big disconnect at times and was not close to the Lord for many years. But, God is so faithful and in more recent years, she started to learn more about Him through His Word and has a newfound relationship that grows every day. The latest season has brought several significant changes to Mindy and her family with the decision to start homeschooling in October of 2020. This has been a huge transition, but through the leading of the Holy Spirit and being obedient to that leading, the blessings have far outweighed any issues that arise. Above all, Mindy and her husband want to instill godly principles and the love of Christ in their children. They hope that their family will be a light to the world by sharing Christ’s love wherever they go.
